A huge LEGO cathedral, done to scale
I was a huuuge LEGO nerd as a child, so I prefer to see this as an impressive piece of work rather than someone with way too much time on their hands
…Guess I’m still a bit of a LEGO nerd eh?
I’ve just been looking through the Manchester and Livejournal_UK communities, when I found a link for Manchesterphoto; I have to admit, looking through the photographs (especially this one of a busy Exchange Square) made me feel a little teary. I may not miss many things from England, but walking down that street at night with friends is definitely one of them.
Just wanted to show you the very cool old poster I found for BSA Motorcycles in an art shop in Westwood, NJ:
I know, I’m a geek.

Early this morning, as we lay in bed utterly incapable of sleeping, we hit upon the bright idea of heading out for breakfast at the IHOP (because I obviously go there all the time and can use the casual abbreviation with immense credibilty :D). I realised about half-way through my food that this very moment, in this very spot, was oddly beautiful and needed to be captured for posterity. So I set up the above picture for your viewing amusement.
Afterwards, we headed out into the little town of Westwood for a bit of wandering around, and I bought the most beautiful old BSA Motorcycles poster I’ve ever seen (and yes, I shall post a photo of it as soon as I can be arsed), I got hold of the Empire Records soundtrack on a sleep-deprived whim, and we made a pact to return and check out this apparently fabulous new ice-cream parlour.
I’m sure that more happened today, but I’m too tired to type any more.
