Happy anniversary to my absolute darling of a wife ♥
I cant believe that it’s already been a whole year since she got off that plane at Manchester Airport and fell lovingly into my arms
LOST / Google Earth Hi-Jinks.

You just know that somewhere on that bloody island there is a laptop and a Wi-Fi connection just waiting to be discovered…
So, by taking the infamous numbers (4 8 15 16 23 & 42), and converting the digits into (admittedly rough and simplified) coordinates, keeping all the digits in their original order, we end up with 4.815, 162.342. By entering these coordinates into Google Earth’s search box, we are taken to a fairly barren point in the Pacific Ocean, and just North-East of these coordinates we find an island - specifically, the island of Kosrae, part of the Federated States of Micronesia. It seems the following description of Kosrae bears a significant resemblance (for the most part) to the island that the survivors find themselves stranded on:
“Following the dispute with the domestic servants’ union at Buckingham Palace today, the queen, a radiant figure in a white silk gown and crimson robe, swept down the main staircase and through the hall. She then dusted the cloak room and vacuumed the lounge.”

Fans of Adult Swim will no doubt be aware of the imminent release of Dangerdoom: The Mouse and the Mask, the collaboration album by DJ Dangermouse and MF Doom; anyone not familiar with AS may instead recognise Dangermouse as the creator of last year’s much blogged-about Grey Album, the Jay-Z/Beatles mash up that got music lawyers’ knickers in a twist. This latest album features a host of guest vocalists doing their thing over quirky hip-hop beats, with the occasional spliced-in wisdom of Adult Swim’s most notable characters.
