Spaced - Coming To Fox?!?!

American version of Spaced to be developed - no, no, no, no, no, no, no, a thousand times no!! It won’t be like The Office! It will suck balls! Everyone involved in creating this abomination needs to be flayed alive!

New Toy

We just ordered a new MacBook to use when out and about, or if we just don’t feel like sitting in our office all day long. We’re gonna network it with our iMacs, and probably with our old PCs too, for shits and giggles.

Next purchase is gonna have to be some backup drives to use with Time Machine.

Leopard

We just pre-ordered the family pack of Leopard (that’s “Mac OS X version 10.5″ to non Mac geeks out there) from Amazon, which seems to have the best deal on it at the moment. Now all that we need is three more Macs to get the best value-for-money from that five-user license…..

Chopin Vodka

Chopin Vodka 3, originally uploaded by johnheppolette.

Chopin is a quadruple-distilled luxury potato vodka, and is gluten-free to boot. So excited were we about finding this stuff that we both crowded around it with cameras like booze-fixated paparazzi.

Daft Hands

Daft Punk are one of the best things about the world today, and so is this video:

I’ve finally condensed it down to just my iMac, and tried to keep the desk area fairly minimal and simple - though there is still room on the top shelf for assorted cluttery bits ‘n’ bobs.

A shot of my dual system setup, on the left is my old PC, being used for downloading and DVD production; on the right is my 20″ iMac, being groomed as my new everyday box.

SQL Jokes are Oddly Satisfying

There’s no humour like SQL-related humour.

Prodigal

My site, my pride and joy, my life collected in digital form, is back online after a few months absence. My former hosting company lost all of my data for the second time in a year, so I decided to switch this site to our Dreamhost server.

Then I forgot all about it. The daily machinations of life got in the way of fiddling with my website.

Now however, it’s back. It’s not perfect, it still needs work in places, and I don’t like using designs that haven’t been created from scratch by myself, but constraints upon my time dictate that such frivolities will have to wait.

Such is life.
