…pretty much sums up how I feel about today.
It’s strange, the things that you can add to your Facebook profiles….
I walked into work this morning to be greeted by this innuendo-ridden invitation printed on the side of a box of Duxbury oysters. One can only wonder what the good folks at Island Creek Oysters get up to on their days off….
After being pre-ordered in September, my hardcover copy of DJ Coffman’s Hero By Night has finally arrived!
Lately, I’ve been enjoying re-listening to the musical stylings of such lauded 1990’s British acts as David Devant & His Spirit Wife, Kenickie, Echobelly, The Charlatans, Supergrass, Catatonia, Mansun, and even Oasis. Right now, I find myself wishing that I had in my hand my now ancient cassette copy of Mansun’s May ‘97 set supporting the Manic Street Preachers at the Nynex Arena in Manchester. That gig (along with stellar support by Embrace and Audioweb, sniff), was one of the best days of my life.
I miss being 16 years old. Music was so much better then, or so it seems….
